Engineered Upper with GORETEX

The upper is constructed from lightweight yet tough and durable engineered fabric that can handle anything the trail throws at it. It protects itself from scuffs and bumps caused by debris, and the padded tongue and traditional lacing system hug the foot for a secure fit that gives you complete control and stability. The GORETEX membrane lining the upper provides ultrabreathable waterproofing. It allows heat and moisture to escape from the inside whilst blocking external water molecules from entering the shoe, so you stay dry and protected all day long.

Lightweight EVA Midsole

A fulllength platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures longlasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on longdistance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you’re ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain. As well as this, a breathable, cushioned removable Ortholite footbed ensures longlasting underfoot comfort. The insole allows for ample ventilation so your feet remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times.

OPTISTUD Vibram Outsole

Developed to provide excellent grip and durability in all weather conditions, the Trailway Active GORETEX Walking Shoes have been constructed using Berghaus’ signature OptiStud outsole. Ensuring multidirectional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you’re hiking or out for a leisurely stroll in the local park. The durable Vibram rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping.
