Recycled Mesh Upper

Designed to provide lightweight support on the trails, the Hoka Mafate Speed 3 Trail Running Shoes have been constructed using a recycled polyester mesh upper. The lightweight mesh swathes the midfoot to support the foot and increase ventilation to keep you cool. The mesh allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The increase in airflow creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in and ensures you remain comfortable when your session heats up. As well as this,KPU moulded overlays offer protective support. The supportive overlays have been used on the upper to provide extra protection and resistance to abrasion, debris or sharp objects you may encounter while trail running. The dynamic, textile tongue offers stretchy, foothugging comfort plus, a breathable, perforated section at the tongue and fortified with Hframe construction at the eyerow provide a customized fit. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distractionfree strides.

EVA Midsole

Designed to provide exceptional support, cushioning and energy return, the misole has been constructed using a lightweight EVA. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures longlasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on longdistance days. The midsole supports and protects the feet on uneven terrain so you can go further for longer in complete comfort.

Vibram Outsole

Designed with Vibram Megagrip the Mafate Speed 3 are designed for those who want a challenge; with the best combination of traction and durability, these trail running shoes are perfect for slippery and challenging terrain. The highperformance rubber compound offers grip and traction on wet and dry surfaces in the most extreme temperatures and with the outsole design boasting no lugs underneath the arch, your foot is encouraged to flex more naturally with greater comfort the ideal shoe for demanding activity. The outsole utilizes deep flex grooves to adapt to a variety of terrain and the 5mm Vibram MegaGrip tread grips even the trickiest of surfaces. With a full ground contact design, the surface area of the foot widens giving more surface area to the Vibram outsole to grip to allow you to plough through the trail.
