Mesh Upper

The Kookaburra Shadow Hockey shoes have been designed with a mesh upper, this allows for a constant airflow keeping your feet cool and comfortable whether training or giving it your all in a match. Additionally, this reduces the weight of the shoe, keeping you light on your feet and ready for a change of pace. These hockey shoes have been designed with moisturewicking properties which make sure that your feet remain irritation free. A rubberised toe section enhances the durability as well as keeping your toes protected at all times. Providing a lockedin fit, Kookaburra have used a knitted and elasticated sock around the ankle, keeping you secure and reducing movement, this has been teamed with additional heel support improving your stability with each stride you take. Finishing the upper Kookaburra have added a padded foam ankle to provide comfort that you can feel as soon as you put them on.

EVA Midsole

An advanced EVA midsole has been designed for superior shock absorption, taking the pressure off the feet and ankles ensuring that they are well protected. Inside the shoes a lightweight moulded insole has been used to support the feet to reduce shock waves keeping the ankles and feet well protected. A perforated insole adds comfort so you don’t need to worry about your feet not being comfortable during a match, whilst also ensuring sweat can escape as much as possible.

Hockey Specific Outsole

The outsole has been designed specifically for playing on AstroTurf surfaces providing you with superb traction. The lugs on the outsole work with your feet to give you maximum grip meaning that you’ll always be stable. The lugs have been specifically placed to support your feet as much as possible, giving you all the help you’ll need on the pitch.
